This concert is a benefit to raise money and awareness for Operation: River Watch. The show will take place in the Annette Recitial Hall located in the Center for Fine Arts on the UW-L campus. The show is for college students only. You’ll need your student IDs in order to enter. The trio might do two performances if enough people show up. There will be an AT WILL donation for any students that wish to make a donation to Operation: River Watch.

Country USA has always been an intense experience. However, I had more involvement this year. I never thought a skinny dude like myself would be able to handle a situation involving six drunk guys.

Also, I wasn’t as nice this year. If people didn’t put the front of their chairs on a line, I made sure they did. General seating people wanted to cut through the reserved section “just to get out faster”. I didn’t let them.

Honestly, it’s a tough job. It’s all about working from dawn until dusk, having only one break, and spending your entire day managing the crowd. I got both praised, and spit on. It’s an experience that happens once a year.

Everytime I get home on the last day, I say to myself “What the hell just happened?” lol.
