This semester is flying by even faster than the last. I’m less busy, but still busy lol. The city of La Crosse has a Public Intoxication Ordinance proposal hanging over the community right now. The student body at all three campuses have come together to make sure everyone is prepared and informed. Since it’s a college town, it’s not as easy as 1-2-3 to implement an ordinance like that. I’ve been heavily invovlved with learning about it, and bringing information back to Western.

I didn’t have a lot of time on Valentine’s Day, but I did take Carrie to the cafeteria and bought her a heart shaped pancake.

Other then that, I have three projects in my Advanced Video Production class. Two are independent projects, and one is a group project. The group project involves working with a client, but we also have to get our independent projects done in the same time period. I’m trying not to cram, but it’s happening anyway since I’m lacking ideas. I feel like my creativity has been muted for awhile now. For my second project, I was thinking about making a music video. My friend Luke produced one last year and it turned out really well. It was his own rendition of “Tell Me” by RA.

I’d do one similar to that. Probably to either “Never Gonna Change” by Saliva or “Our Truth” by Lacuna Coil. I’d be the lead singer in the Saliva video, or I’d have my friend Kayla take on the role of Cristina Scabbia for the Lacuna Coil video. It depends how much time I have, and the difficulty in making either look good.
