Packerland Pro Wrestling - Roadhouse Rumble

I’ve been doing the Photography at most events in the last few years,  but it’s been awhile.  I thought my shots were going to be horrible, but this show had great lighting on at least three sides of the ring.   The outcome of a few airborne spots turned out nice.

Packerland Pro Wrestling - Roadhouse Rumble

Overall the show had a reasonable “active” crowd for being free admission.  Despite the attendance, the people were very active.  Steve Boz’s opponent (not remembering his name) got in my face.  He had tons of heat with the crowd.  However, I think Steve has great potential and could see him as a main eventer in the WWE someday.

You can check out the photos from the event here.  Please do not distribute these.

Facebook Friend Spam

Recieved a friend suggestion from someone today on Facebook.  When I tried to add Sean,  it gave me this message.  I don’t have an absurd amount of friends,  and I know Sean so I don’t get it.

It’s probably just a bug,  but I figure I’d point it out in case anyone else stumbles on the same problem.  If my account gets disabled from this,  you will hear from me again! So will Facebook!

NACA Marketplace
I went to the NACA (National Association for Campus Activities) Northern Plains conference again this year. It was so much better than last year.  I don’t think there was ever a moment where anyone was completely bored. I remember Recycled Percussion stood out as the show stealer last year in most peoples eyes. Here’s the lineup we hope to have perform at Western Tech next year.

2007-2008

August - Northern Room
September - Julie Moffitt
October - Peter Boie (Magician)
November - Sean McConnell
December - President’s Quartet
January - No Event
February - Jabali Afrika
March - Saliesh (Hypnotist)
April - Bascom Hill
May - No Event

Anyhow, I met tons of new people. Networking is really fun and makes the whole experience worthwhile. I hope to get elected for the Public Relations position in Student Government next year. I’ve been nominated for President as well, but I’m more interested in DOING rather than DELEGATING.
