The semester is finally over. I’m back home in Appleton celebrating
Christmas with the family. School doesn’t start again until January 16th.
I actually got a 200GB Firewire drive and iTunes gift certificates for Christmas. Unfortunately, no Stephenie poster. I was hoping I’d have something to put on my wall when I get back to La Crosse.
There was one gift that surprised me. I’m not going to mention it, but I thought it was very ironic that my uncle and cousin read my mind.
Merry Christmas to all readers, friends, and family who actually take the time to read my blog!

“Remember that story several weeks back about playing video on your iPod nano? This is cool. Someone videotaped their iPod nano playing video. It doesn’t look too bad, but it is dang small.”
There’s a video included in the link, it’s worth the watch. Looks like it does require installing Linux on your Nano. I just don’t see how you could (on a constant basis) watch a video on a screen as small as that…

“Nick Dupree, a disability rights activist and writer who is confined to a wheelchair with severly limited mobility, uses one thumb and an index finger to play Star Wars: Galaxies. This was enough to play, and he was a devotee of the game. With the New Game Enhancements, he can’t play anymore…”
That’s one major downfall of product evolution…sad but true.
