“Podcasting is facing its first real challenge. Record Labels have gathered their army of lawyers and are preparing to unleash them on podcasters. The sunny world of podcasting will soon be covered by RIAA storm clouds.”

Ok, now the RIAA is paranoid people will start using podcasts for illegal music distributing? This subject really needs to take a chill pill. The RIAA is always going to think about suspicious ideas for any “big thing” that happens in the music download world. To me, it prevents things from having any chance to evolve. They’re never going to officially end music piracy.

If it becomes a problem for authors who create music oriented podcasts, they should play short clips instead of entire songs.
