I’ve decided to cancel my suscription with Blockbuster online. I have one more month left, so I’m having them send me all the movies with Natalie Portman in them. She’s been my favorite actress for a really long time. I can’t WAIT for Star Wars: Episode III to come out.

I watched Garden State last night. I liked it. Usually whenever I see Natalie, I think of her as Senator Amidala. In this movie, she played the role of Sam, who is everything the main character isn’t. Zach Braff plays Andrew Largeman, who lives a very “numb” life due to experiences he’s had. Sam enters his life, and gets him to open up and accept enjoyment out of life and the pain it can consist of.

Both of them were really complex characters, but I was able to follow the movie really well. It’s worth watching again. I was amazed to learn that Zach was the director of the movie also. He did a great job!
